Career Summary:Tera King has been a Professional Forester for Northwest Management, Inc. since 2003. Ms. King works with various crews to gather timber inventory and volume data for both industrial and non-industrial clients. In addition, she assists NMI’s wildland fire and fuels management program with wildfire support and implementation of fuel modification treatments. As part of the hazard mitigation planning team, Ms. King is responsible for working directly with County and Tribal teams of resource professionals in developing hazard mitigation projects for wildfire, flood, landslides, earthquakes, severe weather, terrorism, and civil unrest. She works with clients in developing and implementing on-the-ground activities to meet landowner goals.
Ms. King's previous experience included working for the USDA Forest Service for several years. Her responsiblites included remaining in the field for 4 to 8 days at a time clearing and maintaining forest roads. trail systems and campsites in remote areas of the Nez Perce National Forest.

Bachelor of Science; 2003, Forest Resources, Ecosystem Management University of Idaho, Moscow.
