Mr. Davis’ previous experience was as Procurement/Feeland Forester for Louisiana-Pacific Corporation where his responsibilities included: acquisition and quality control of timber for three sawmills and one oriented strand board plant, supervision of contracted logging crews, pre-sale activities on company owned land including silvicultural prescriptions, property boundary location, road location, tree marking, cruising, logging unit layout, reforestation, and access/ROW easements on 24,000 acres in northern Idaho.
Mr. Davis’ also has 7 years experience with the Idaho Department of Lands involving timber sale preparation and administration on State lands in northern Idaho, and forest management advice and administration of federal forestry cost-share programs, and enforcement of the Idaho Forest Practices Act in the Coeur d’Alene area.
Tom received a Bachelor of Science, Forest Resource Management, at the University of Idaho, Moscow, ID.
